Classic Sissy Assignment 60 — Gloss

For soft girls, femboys, crossdressers, and feminine dreamers

Lips: A Feminine
Focal Point

Nicely shaven but unsure what comes next? The lips receive more makeup attention than almost any feature except the eyes, and their two classic finishing options—lip gloss and lipstick—offer a simple way to practice natural, wearable femininity throughout an ordinary day.

First Stage

Recognize the Lips as a Feminine Focal Point

Original assignment reference · Bring feminine attention to the lips
  • There is always another feminine detail to explore, even when shaving is already complete.
  • In makeup, the lips are second only to the eyes in the amount of attention they receive.
  • The two main choices are lip gloss and lipstick, each creating a different balance of shine and color.
02
Second Stage

Understand the History of Gloss and Lipstick

  • Lip gloss is comparatively new: it was created in the 1930s to help the shine of lips appear more clearly in movies.
  • That cinematic effect relied on contrast and reflected light more than pure color.
  • Lipstick, in comparison, has remained a centerpiece of feminine beauty for thousands of years and should not be dismissed.
03
Third Stage

Notice What Fullness, Color, and Shine Communicate

  • The fullness and color of lips can communicate mood, health, and attitude.
  • Blood flow increases in the lips during excitement or arousal, which is why deep, full red has long suggested health, sexuality, and vitality.
  • Many women keep several shades available for different moods and effects; this assignment invites you to begin building that same awareness.

Fourth Stage

Choose the Most Neutral, Natural Shade You Own

  • Use a tube of lipstick or lip gloss in the most neutral, natural color available.
  • Avoid overcompensating with very bright color or too much makeup. Cosmetics should enhance the features rather than cover them.
  • Because the color will be worn outside, choose something subtle unless a more visible look genuinely suits your confidence and setting.
  • Use a clean personal product, do not share applicators, and stop if the lips develop irritation or swelling.
05
Fifth Stage

Apply a Thin Layer in the Morning

  • In the morning, apply a very light layer of lipstick or gloss and commit to wearing it throughout the day.
  • A shade that exactly matches the natural lips is excellent; one that enhances them only slightly is even better.
  • Gently move the tube or applicator across the bottom lip, then press and glide the upper lip against it to spread a thin, subtle layer over both.
06
Final Stage

Take the Subtle Femininity Out Into the Day

  • Someone might notice the slight feminine change; if they do, appreciate that they paid enough attention to see something so subtle.
  • Most people—especially many men—do not study the nuance of someone else's lips, and even a significant change often goes unnoticed when it is neither garish nor unusually pale.
  • Use the day to build confidence wearing makeup outside and to practice genuine, restrained, feminine application.
